In this study, effects of adding butene, homopolymer to gasoline on the performance a four-stroke spark ignition (SI) engine and pollutant emissions have been investigated. This additive increases octane number gasoline. research, was combined with non-leaded Also, in addition fuel changes use additives, plugs were replaced three types used for study. These include single electrode plug, dual plug Platinum+4 plug. The results experimental tests showed that gasoline, brake torque braking power increased each type. revealed by combining additive, carbon dioxide nitrogen oxides increased. On other hand, unburned hydrocarbons monoxide from reduced. addition, it concluded changing had slight effect emissions, using all almost identical.
